What is One of Satan's Easiest Tactics?

Satan...we've all heard that familiar verse in I Peter 5:8 which tells us: "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour (NIV)." I like the KJV also, "Be sober, vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."

Oh how we take him so lightly. He wants nothing more than to destroy our soul! One easy place that Satan finds fairly easy is to attach the family structure. If he can create strife within the family, then he has a good chance to take us away from our Christian values and eventually from God. An easy target is with our "Fathers" within households. If he can remove that stability that a father gives, then it is easier for him to destroy the family.

I discovered a great, non-profit ministry that is trying to combat the effect Satan is having on Fathers. It's founder, John Finch, from Dallas was raised in a fatherless home and is on a mission to help fathers create a strong family and build a legacy that expands generations.

I came across this ministry on my Twitter feed and LOVE their posts such as this one below. I do hope you explore more about "The Father Effect".

What is YOUR next step?

Love to find little treasures on Twitter. Ran across this one today and thought it worthy to post here today! Have a great President's Day! Remember not to focus on your past failures, but always pick yourself up and look for that step forward (or upward)!

God Grants us Talents

We know the parable about the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30 and how God expects us to use the gifts that HE has chosen for us. How are you using yours? I ran across this perfect example through my email when +PurposeCity  and @PurposeCity on Twitter followed me on Twitter. I researched them and discovered thay Noah Curran is sharing great WORD ART using God's word (pun). It was so refreshing to see the talent and gift he has and for it to be used in such a wonderful way. I could not take myself away from it. Thank you Noah Curran for your designs. They are breathtaking. This is the one that I have decided to share since it spoke the loudest to me this morning. It is telling me to be brave, and have courage in light of what I dealing with in my life. What does it say to you? If you are like me and need courage check out Joshua 1:9 also for another scripture on courage. It is my favorite and I challenge Noah to design one with that one.
