What is YOUR next step?
Love to find little treasures on Twitter. Ran across this one today and thought it worthy to post here today! Have a great President's Day! Remember not to focus on your past failures, but always pick yourself up and look for that step forward (or upward)!
A2:remember what we have that is wonderful, celebrate the + we encounter every day,be + about the future knowing our work matters. #iaedchat pic.twitter.com/iVtbSA7EHO

What quality is your FAITH?

I have purchased two books on Sketchnoting by Mike Rohde from Amazon. One is the Sketchnote Handbook and the other one is the Sketchnote Workbook. My goal is to increase the way I am taking notes during sermons and while doing my morning bible study. Here is an example what I'd like to do. Thanks for sharing this on Flickr so that others like myself can see great sketching in action. Looks like Greg Alles is the author or sketch artist who created this message on Faith. Love, love this. Awesome stuff here. I hope to find more to share and then one day, share my own. With God's help, I can succeed, right?

Will You Be Bold When it Counts?
The following is a TRUE story of something that happened over the holidays that will
really make you think and it could happen to any of us.
A young 17 year old boy was shopping in a St. Cloud at a sports store called Shields.
The cashier was a Muslim lady who was wearing her headscarf. The 17 year old was
wearing a necklace with a cross on it. She told him he would have to put his cross
under his shirt because it offended her. He told her would not do that. Then he told
her that he thought she should take her headscarf off. She then called for the manager.
The manager came out and told the 17 year old to just put his cross under his shirt
and everything would be fine.
The boy again refused to do so and at that point he left the items he had intended
to purchase and walked out. Several customers who had been in line behind him
had heard the conversation and also left their carts full of items and walked out of
the store!!*
I SAY KUDOS TO THE 17 YEAR OLD!!! We all know we are in some very changing
times, and given the same circumstances, I pray we would all have the courage
this young lad had.
Our Bible class spent a few minutes talking about the challenge we are facing for
our first amendment right of religious freedom.
(I have to wonder what’s next?? Are they going to try to ban the jewelry store
owners from selling any jewelry with a cross on it?????)
Please share, and be ready to defend your religious rights!
God bless you, and God bless America

How Do You Socktober?
God tells us in Isaiah 58:7
New Living Translation
Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help.
New Living Translation
Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help.
By now, millions of people have heard of Kid President. He has captured many hearts with his cuteness, but more importantly, he has a heart and helps motivate others to good. I am challenging churches and schools everywhere to help him reach his goal of 3 million. Set up your own Socktober Drive. Don't limit it to socks, you can choose blankets, canned food, toiletries, deodorant, soap, brushes, etc. We want to help the homeless shelters and get them supplied with items before the cold winter. Check out the website: happysocktober.com They even have an official seal! Check it out:
